As a frequent traveler with a taste for historic charm, I couldn't have been more pleased with my stay at the Overdale in Whitby. the beautifully renovated Victorian house exudes old-world elegance while offering modern amenities such as WiFi and free private parking. the room was immaculately clean with a stunning bathroom featuring a large shower and a freestanding Rolltop bath. the hospitality tray in the room was a thoughtful touch, providing everything I needed for a cozy stay. The friendly, family-run guesthouse was ideally situated for both coastal and country walks, allowing me to explore the unrivaled scenery in the area. the location was perfect, within walking distance of the town's excellent pubs and restaurants, making it easy to enjoy the local facilities. the owners, Jayne and Keith, were welcoming and informative, providing great recommendations for sightseeing and dining options. One of the main highlights of my stay was the free off-road parking, a rare find in Whitby. Being able to park my car safely and conveniently just added to the overall excellent experience at the Overdale. I highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a peaceful and charming retreat in this historic seaside town. Thank you, Jayne and Keith, for a wonderful stay.
